It shows that I’ve completed my training with Functional Medicine University and now I’m a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner.

I’ve learned a vast amount about how we regulate the chemistry of our internal environment, and how that intersects with the food we eat, the environment in which we live, and the microbes with which we co-exist.

It’s been an intense educational experience for me, broadening and deepening my scientific understanding of how we cope with the many health challenges that we face.

Functional diagnosis looks deeper than conventional medical diagnosis, using an array of tests to find the underlying reasons for chronic illness. These underlying reasons can include, for example:

  • Toxic exposure
  • Auto-immune reactions
  • Food sensitivity
  • Hormone imbalance
  • Gut health
  • Inflammation
  • Nutrient deficiency

The collection of articles I’ve written includes many posts that cover areas of functional diagnostic medicine. I’ll continue to add more over the next weeks and months.

If you have specific concerns about how functional diagnostic medicine can help you, step forward by calling or e-mailing me so I can respond to your individual situation.
