Espress yourself!

I think I have the most important job in the world.

For me, chiropractic goes beyond health.  Each individual has a purpose – an abiding emotional commitment to create a vibrant life and make a unique contribution to others. The process of chiropractic is to liberate that purpose and provide the energy needed for its full expression.

In other words, your life is like espresso.  Chiropractic opens the valve that lets through the steam.

The ground espresso beans burst with aromatic, power-packed ingredients. Each variety of coffee has distinct characteristics. But by themselves they’re mere potential. They need steam to shoot through them to extract their essence.

You may prefer a nice cup of assam to an espresso shot. Yet despite individual differences, each of us combines a uniquely personal essence with access to the energy and drive to develop that essence to its fullest.

When the system founders, poor health is one result. That’s where chiropractic kicks in. The chiropractic goals to relieve pain, restore movement function, and rebuild health are actually by-products of a larger goal – to restore your access to the energy that drives your life forward towards its unique purpose.

Here are my promises to my patients:

  • I believe in you.
  • I believe in your body’s ability to restore itself to health if given half a chance.
  • I believe in the importance of your higher purpose.
  • I commit my knowledge and experience to help you achieve your immediate goals – relieving pain, restoring movement function, and improving health – while also strengthening your commitment to your purpose and your ability to carry it out.

Here’s what I ask of my patients to keep their end of the bargain:

  • Espress yourself.

    Ron,

So enjoyed your article and the comparison you make to espresso (which I must confess, I love!). Chiropractic opens the valve that lets through the steam. Great description, and one I can attest to!
